Flow classes are the same as Vinyasa classes.  Flow is a newer phrase to describe a traditional practice.  In Flow classes, breath is linked with movement in a deliberate sequence that “flows” together. This kind of rhythm more easily allows modern-day practitioners to tap into a moving meditation. There is often a balance of stretching and strengthening postures.

Power Flow classes are a faster-paced Flow-style class, often including core work, the space to practice advanced poses like arm balances or inversions, and upbeat music.  You can always come to Power and modify the practice with lots of props, taking it at your own pace.

Slow Flow is also a Vinyasa-style class, linking together breath and movement. However, poses are broken down and more alignment cues are given.
This is a great way to refine your practice and receive that extra bit of advice and attention from the teacher. Also, it’s perfect if you prefer a slower-moving practice.

Yin Yoga consists of deep yet passive yoga postures held for longer periods of time. In terms of yin and yang, yin is the softer side of things. However, this practice can still be difficult, as the postures ask for deep stretching, rather than the strengthening often found in a Flow class. The postures target the connective tissue and the fascia. The thought is that through Yin Yoga sequences, energy better flows through the body. Yin incorporates the concepts of the meridians and chakras, similar to acupuncture. In a Yin class, you often face the fluctuations of the mind with long pose holds and silence.

In Restorative, you get as comfortable as you can in poses where the body is entirely supported with props. These poses are held for longer periods but unlike Yin, they are not physically challenging. The purpose is to nourish your nervous system by finding deep rest. Some practitioners refer to Restorative Yoga as the “dessert of yoga” because it’s so enjoyable.

Yoga Nidra is Yogic Sleep.  In this practice you rest comfortably, often lying down, while you are guided through relaxation, breath, awareness of the body, and rotation of consciousness.

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

This is only offered as a one-on-one (no groups)
