Class Descriptions

HONOR YOURSELF:
In every yoga class, honor your body's unique rhythm. If you ever feel overwhelmed, please listen to your body, mind, and spirit and take a seat or lie down, reconnect with your breath, and rejoin when ready. Child’s Pose is an excellent pose to use when reconnecting with yourself. Embrace poses that resonate and modify or skip those that don't. Just commit to staying for the entire class.

ADJUSTMENTS:
Instructors may offer hands-on adjustments during class. If so, they will remind you to grab a consent card, which you can place at the top of your mat. This lets instructors know whether you are open or not to hands-on adjustments while in a pose.
Connect with your instructor

If you have any physical limitations, injuries, are pregnant, or have sensitivities to incense, please let your instructor know. This information will allow them to work with you on modifications and adjustments and to make the space pleasant for all.

Flow & Stretch

Flow is a newer phrase to describe a traditional practice. In Flow classes, breath is linked with movement in a deliberate sequence that “flows” together. This kind of rhythm more easily allows  practitioners to tap into a moving meditation. There is often a balance of stretching and strengthening postures.
You may have heard of Vinyasa Yoga, flow classes are the same as Vinyasa classes.

Start your day with us! This is a 45-minute class to get your day started right. Starting your day with yoga helps increase energy and focus while setting a positive tone for the day ahead. It also promotes mental clarity and reduces stress, making it easier to handle challenges with a calm, balanced mindset.

Power moves at a faster pace and may offer some more challenging poses like inversions.

Reset your day. Taking yoga on your lunch break helps reset your mind and body, reducing midday stress and boosting energy. It also improves focus and productivity for the rest of your day.

Flow yoga followed by time to melt into stretchy (Yin) postures for the second half of class. Yin helps to release tension in your body, reduce stress, improve circulation, and improve range of motion in joints. Your will hold poses for three to five minutes. Modifications are offered.

Gentle Flow classes offer you a mindful, slow flow of postures as you intentionally connect with your breath. This class will help release stiffness and tension, gain strength and balance in your body, and focus your mind. Modifications are offered to challenge your edge or slow it down.

Restore offers an opportunity for relaxation and calm in a variety of ways using props. This is designed to release tension in your body, reduce stress, and increase mindfulness.

Discover deep relaxation with Yoga Nidra. Let go of stress and immerse yourself in an hour of guided imagery while in savasana. Each session combines easy breathwork, body awareness, and simple guided imagery to unlock inner calm and experience self-discovery.

Stretch & Release combines the practice of Yin, with deep stretching of the joints and tissues that can help improve circulation, and range of motion in joints. Your will hold poses for three to five minutes. Ending with a releasing Restorative practice designed to release tension in your body, reduce stress, and increase mindfulness.

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.
One - on - one sessions available by appointment only by visiting our appointments page or on the app (top center of schedule).

You will find a lot of friendly people in each class!
We regularly offer events to help build connection to each other outside of regular classes.
Be sure to check out our events on the Enrollment page (top right) of the schedule on the app, or visit our Events page on the website.

Barre is a low-impact but highly effective class that combines elements of ballet, Pilates, yoga, and strength training. It focuses on engaging specific muscles until they reach fatigue, targeting your muscles through tiny, controlled pulses, followed by stretching. We end in a long savasana to rest the body and the mind.

Pilates involves a series of precise movements to strengthen your core muscles while making you more flexible. Pilates enhances posture, muscle tone, and joint mobility without high impact.

During a sound bath, you are “bathed” in the sound and vibrations of quartz crystal and metal singing bowls, creating a deep and immersive meditative experience. The experience can be profound. Bring something to lie on (like a yoga mat), a blanket, and an eye pillow for the best experience.
We offer regular sound baths. Please check our events page for this offering or the enrollments page on the app (top right of schedule)
